about me

a little bit more about me :)

my process & philosophy

i believe in a human-centered approach to development. this means starting every project by deeply understanding the user's needs and pain points, iterating rapidly, and prioritizing accessibility and performance from day one.

my expertise lies in modern web stacks (mern, jamstack), but my strength is being platform agnostic—i pick the right tool for the job. continuous learning, clean architecture, and rigorous testing are non-negotiables in my workflow.

**born and raised in portland, oregon**, i have soft spots for used books (the best ones come with annotations & bookmarks), black coffee, and all things green! outside of class, you can usually find me experimenting with tofu, trying out new boba places (i have a rubric), and being dragged on hikes by my friends.

**speaking of creative outlets** -- in my free time, i love to paint and draw. i'm always looking for creative outlets that balance the logical structure of software development and research, such as making pointillist portraits or designing digital art.

my core philosophy centers on creating technology that is both **delightful and ethically conscious**. i strive for clean, elegant code that solves real-world problems with maximum user empathy, especially when working on projects that involve social good or sustainability.
